Pressure and DP Symptoms
« on: January 27, 2013, 07:06:46 PM »
Am I wrong to think this but whenever I get pressured big time at work or even at home, the symptoms of dp begin to rage all over the place.? Anxiety is part of it too. I can go for long periods without it then sometimes it will last for months but it's usually when I'm pressured no end. I've read and respect your opinions about TMS and find I can't help but believe this is happening to me. I do resent all the pressure so isn't it likely that my mind-body could be rebelling? Any thoughts?

Any type of added stress enhances symptoms of anxiety and/or depersonalization. Both these conditions are fueled by stress in your life BUT and this is very important to remember, IF the stress is handled correctly, it will not morph into these intrusive symptoms. This is why it is imperative to adhere to the process presented in the program package and use these principles on a daily basis. This ensures less symptoms and a life that is far easier to manage.

Best wishes,
