Green Tea?
« on: September 05, 2009, 07:58:11 PM »
I want to get healthy and bought some green tea but don't feel so good after drinking it. Anyone else? Also stomach upset, like running to bathroom.

Dear Adam,
Green tea is very healthful and generally a good choice. I would recommend a decaffeinated version and if you still find it upsets your stomach or causes frequent elimination, it might not be for you. Not every healthful product brings the same results for everyone taking it. Many find the gentle cleansing action of green tea too strong for their digestive tract. Only you would know this and therefore, it helps to heed your own body signals. There are is a multitude of other healthy teas and it might be to your best benefit to sample a few others. Chamomile is very relaxing, Sleepytime is delicious and relaxing as well.

Best wishes,

Dr. Ronnie Freedman

Switched to camomile. Much better. Problem over. Thanks. You're the best!
