Sensitivity Question

Hi Dr. Ronnie,

I've emailed you in the past and you always gave me answers I needed. I discovered I have a question that might help everyone if you can answer it.

How come when I watch a movie and the scene gets tough I get uncomfortable and turn the channel or can't watch? Same happens when I'm with people who argue. I feel everything they feel but inside of me. My stomach knots up and all my other anxieties come out. Any conflict on television makes me uncomfortable and I feel it in my body too. I hate live tv because you see people getting embarrassed and humiliated. It's painful to watch. I don't like arguing even though I have much to say. It's too much on my body. I will not take medication so what can I do?

I wish I knew if anyone else had this reaction. It would make me feel better. My questions is how do I get myself to be less reactive? How do I tell my body to not go all haywire? I'm looking forward to your answer very much.
